Don
Humphrey has been appointed Dean of Ministry Training for Northeast Africa.
He is working under the oversight of Sunset International Bible Institute
and the Woodward Park Church of Christ in Fresno. With John Ed Clark and
Joe Boe, he is working to advance ministry training in Ethiopia, Sudan,
and the surrounding countries.
With a degree in Bible and speech from Harding University in Searcy and
a master’s degree in communications from the University of Northern
Colorado, Don has retired from full-time preaching in California where
he was the minister and an elder for the Oakhurst Church of Christ. He
and his wife now live in Nashville and worship with the Mt. Juliet Church
of Christ.
Besides preaching, Don is the author of numerous books, including Christian
Love, Hearts on Fire, and You Can Have a New Life. He is also the producer
of the exciting new evangelism video “The Missing Peace.”
Don is the father of six children, all graduates of Christian colleges.
His wife is Sandra Humphrey, editor of Christian Woman magazine for 24
years.
One of Don’s favorite pastimes is travel, which equips him well
for his new African work. His travel all over the world includes many
trips as a tour leader to the Bible lands but will now specialize in starting
a preaching school in Sudan.
