Ron and Shirley Downey

Ron and his wife Shirley have been at work in both local and mission ministry since finishing Sunset in 1972. Their travels have taken them to California, Canada, and Australia. They have recruited 2 and worked with three AIM teams .

Works include – Fairfield, Ca., Martinez, Ca., Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and both Melbourne and Sydney Australia.

Ron has continued studies and recently finished his D. Min in missions.

Ron will be working with the 10 schools now in existence in Asia and assisting in the South Pacific. He sees his mission as serving as a resource for the working Deans in the field and exploring new opportunities for expansion of Ministry Training in the 48 nations of Asia.

With half the world’s land mass and two-thirds it’s population he invites all help and prayers.

Ron and Shirley are currently living in Marysville, Ca. They have four children and 8 grandchildren. The Ham Lane church of Christ in Lodi, CA is their sponsoring congregation.
